You were very gracious, as those controls are difficult. It seems to require constant movement back and forth as opposed to forward. Moving in a small arc will keep you moving forward-ish. This was just never intended for PC.
More apologies for the Tutorial freezing. It's one fight to earn enough food to see the Farting Stage. Click on the raised pedestal in the Home screen and you can choose the foods to eat. Filling your Gas Meter full and igniting the Clouds reveals a section of the Mural. Combining different Tiers of food in the proper combination adds a special effect that is saved in a jar on the wall.
You came this far. You should be able to clear your data and go through the tutorial again. You could also just click on the platform behind you to access the Farting. It really is pretty cool.

Playing this on PC with the mobile controls was kind of rough. Aside from that it seems like an entertaining dungeon crawler of sorts.
